How quickly can I produce a quote?

With Site Walkthroughs and our Paint & Prep Calculator, most painters can go from a walkthrough to a draft estimate in minutes. Capture rooms/areas on‑site, click Create Estimate, and review the per‑room sections immediately on the created estimate.

Does it handle interior, exterior, ceilings, trim, doors, and prep?

Yes. The calculator supports interior and exterior projects, vaulted/cathedral ceilings, exclusions, and first‑class toggles for ceilings/trim/doors. Prep work (masking, patching, caulking, power washing, scraping, lead‑safe) is included with production‑aware costing.

How accurate are the numbers?

Materials are based on coverage by substrate and method, with adjustable waste factor and container strategies. Labor uses production rates plus setup/cleanup and height/access multipliers. You can tune defaults in Painting Settings to match your crew.

Can I use my preferred brand and sheen?

Yes. Choose brand/sheen preferences and defaults; the purchase list notes brand/sheen and aggregates quantities by container size. Vendor SKU mapping is planned as an optional layer for supplier‑ready POs.

Do you generate a purchase list?

Yes. After you create an estimate, download a job‑wide Purchase List (PDF/CSV). We aggregate materials across rooms by canonical product (brand/line/sheen) and container size so the paint store can fill the order quickly.
